High-power servo motor for precise flow control of C heavy oil and fuel oil cleaning.

Explanation of the centrifugal separation of impurities and moisture in C heavy oil and engine protection. High-output servos that can be considered for high-precision drives such as fuel supply pumps.

The "C heavy oil," widely used in large vessels and self-generating power facilities, is an excellent fuel in terms of cost but contains asphalt components, fine solid sludge, and a high moisture content. Supplying these untreated to the engine can cause serious damage such as wear and seizure of the fuel injection nozzles. Therefore, the stable operation of the "fuel oil cleaning device (NEW OFRO unit)" that properly heats and processes C heavy oil to completely remove impurities and moisture is crucial for determining the overall lifespan and operational reliability of the engine. Since the viscosity of C heavy oil varies significantly with temperature and oil quality, the pumps that deliver oil to the centrifuge and filters must maintain the specified flow rate and pressure without being affected by viscosity changes or resistance fluctuations, requiring "high-precision flow control (feedback control)." Our "low-voltage, high-output coreless servo motors (CMS series)" are large-capacity motors equipped with high-resolution encoders. They can be considered a reliable drive shaft for precision transfer pumps in the C heavy oil cleaning line and for separation mechanisms where control is essential.

LFP Voltage Drop Response High Precision Control Large Output Servo Motor

Explaining the issues of LFP's unique "flat discharge curve and rapid voltage drop." High-precision servo that accurately stops positioning even under power fluctuations.

In the adoption of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, many control engineers face the challenge of "the flatness of the discharge curve." LFP batteries have the characteristic of maintaining voltage even when the remaining charge is low, and they suddenly drop in voltage near their capacity limit. As a result, simple voltage monitoring can lead to control failures, such as changes in the stopping distance of AGVs or inability to stop precisely at designated positions. Alongside strict remaining charge management via BMS (CAN communication), advanced servo control capabilities are required on the motor side to "constantly correct accurate position and speed based on feedback from the encoder, regardless of voltage fluctuations." Our "CMS series (low voltage, high output coreless servo motors)" comes standard with high-resolution encoders. Even in the face of rapid voltage fluctuations specific to LFP batteries or in low voltage environments, it is a precision drive unit that promises millimeter-level accurate positioning and stable operation in conjunction with the upper controller.

[Battery-operated] DC low voltage, high output servo motor

Achieves control equivalent to AC servos in a battery environment. DC 24V/48V servo motors are optimal for drive design of AGVs and mobile robots.

The development of AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) and autonomous robots, which are rapidly increasing due to the automation of factories and warehouses. These devices are based on "battery-powered (DC power)" without outlets, but require "high-precision positioning and high torque, like AC servo motors," for movement and arm control. However, operating a typical AC servo motor with a battery requires a large inverter (boost circuit), which poses significant challenges such as increased weight of the unit, space constraints, and worsened battery consumption. Our "CMS Series (Low Voltage, High Output Coreless Servo Motors)" addresses this issue. It can be driven directly with low voltage battery power of DC 24V/48V, achieving precise feedback control equivalent to AC servos through high-resolution encoders. Since a boost circuit is unnecessary, this revolutionary drive unit simultaneously enables weight reduction and space-saving of the robot body, as well as extending continuous operating time.
